Metropolitan ’14

After the namesake armchair with its slender profile and expertly tailored design that was presented in 2014, the project Metropolitan ’14 by Jeffrey Bernett is extended with a cosy modern sofa that always features the continuous line presented by both seat and armrest.‎ But the innovative touch is the base with four spokes.‎ Already used as support for the armchair, here it is doubled to enhance the sofa with an aerodynamic flare that refreshingly revisits the look of even the most conventional spaces.‎ Technical information – Internal frame: tubular steel and steel profiles – Internal frame upholstery: Bayfit® (Bayer®) flexible cold shaped polyurethane foam, shaped polyurethane, polyester fibre cover – Support frame: painted black chrome, bronzed nickel painted or bright brushed die-cast aluminium and extrusions – Ferrules: thermoplastic material – Cover: fabric or leather in limited categories
