Fauna

FAUNA design by Sara Ricciardi in collaboration with Venini The project was suggested to me by the view of the various techniques of applying color in blown glass.‎ The jet of grits, whose distribution is not perfectly governed, reminded me of the mottled skins of animals.‎ This is how a bizarre glass fauna is composed: a spotted horse, a flecked manta and a speckled beetle, all with bright colors, those that nature is never afraid to wear.‎
