About Cone Chair
Verner Panton initially designed the Cone Chair for an eatery in Denmark. It takes its shape from the exemplary mathematical figure for which it is named. The cushioned shell frames the back and armrests and, along with the delicate seat cushion, makes an extraordinarily agreeable armchair, which is mounted on an exquisite hardened steel turn base. Material depiction – Body: GRP (glass fiber built up plastic laminate). – Upholstery: softly cushioned with polyurethane foam. Seat cushion. – Base: tempered steel cruciform base, glossy silk finish. – Glides: plastic.
